Spring 2018 Sephora VIB Sale Recommendations

It’s that time of year again! Time for the Sephora VIB sale. Up until this year I have been a VIB Rogue, which means I’m lucky enough to shop the sale earlier than others and also means I spend too much at Sephora. This year I lost my Rogue status (which I’m totally ok with) and will be shopping with everyone else. I have my eye on a few skincare items but, I’m not sure if I’m ready to pull the trigger yet. I rounded up some of my tried and true products and wanted to share them with you all.

First up we have some skincare items. Skincare has become my favorite thing to buy. I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve gotten older but I just enjoy it so much more than buying makeup.

Fresh Soy Cleanser – I love using this as my second cleanse at night. It is so soft on the skin and leaves me feeling clean and refreshed. ($15-38)

Bite Beauty Agave Lip Balm – I originally tried the agave lip mask which I loved and used overnight and when Bite came out with the lip balm I was so excited. I always have this in my hand bag. ($18)

Dr. Jart Shake & Shot Rubber Mask – I had seen this going around Instagram and I was highly intrigued. I picked up the hydro mask since my skin is always dry and especially with winter still lingering. My skin loved this! My skin felt so hydrated afterwards. Plus the rubber mask was a lot of fun to take off once it dried. I will definitely be using this when I have a big event coming up and my face needs a pick me up. ($12)

First Aid Beauty Coconut Skin Primer – I have never really found any primers that I liked until I stumbled upon this amazingness. This primer doesn’t really feel like a primer but more like a moisturizer. And the smell is absolutely amazing. It helps my foundations last longer throughout the day. I usually wear this on my long work days and my foundation stays put for over 12 hours. ($14-28)

Belif Moisturizing Balm – I have been a fan of Belif since it was first stocked in Sephora a few years ago. One of the first items I bought was this moisturizer and I never looked back. It leaves my skin hydrated and smooth. Since I have dry skin I enjoy the moisturizing balm over the aqua balm. The aqua balm is much lighter and works better for me in the summer time. ($22-38)

Ole Hendricksen Truth Serum – I recently have fallen back in love with this serum. Back when I was in college I was in love with it and eventually it got pushed aside for something else but it’s now back and better than ever. It’s my morning serum of choice. ($48-72)

Sunday Riley Good Genes – Don’t walk but run to Sephora and buy this. If you have dry skin, uneven skin tone, textured skin, or anything in that nature you need this. I can’t even tell you how many bottles I’ve used over the years. It’s my absolute must have. ($105)

SK-II Facial Essence Treatment – I use this after toner and before my serum. Some may say they don’t see a difference in their skin when they use this but I totally do. When I don’t use an essence my serum and moisturizer don’t fully soak into my skin properly and just kind of sit there. This essence helps brighten my skin and help my skin hold moisture. ($99-229)

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid – I love using this on my skin at night. When I use this at night my skin feels so plump the next morning. This is perfect for the winter time when your skin is super dry. And the price is just amazing. ($6.80)

Tom Ford Traceless Perfecting Foundation – This is my holy grail high end foundation. It’s a pretty perfect match for my skin tone and works so well with my dry skin. It’s a bit more on the expensive side so I use it for special occasions only. ($82)

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette – Any girl who has blue or green eyes needs this. It makes your eyes pop and is just so beautiful. ($42)

Jo Malone Peony Blush Suede – The best floral perfume out their. It is just so light and fresh and soft. It’s my favorite fragrance for spring. ($65)

Burberry Light Glow in Peony Blush – Burberry has one of my favorite blush formulas. I have a few in my collection but, peony blush is my favorite shade. It’s the perfect shade that looks like my cheeks were just pinched. ($42)

Dr. Jart Beauty Balm – This is my favorite everyday foundation. This foundation is like my skin but better. The light shade is perfect for my skin tone and evens me out. It gives me a nice dewy, fresh faced look. ($39)

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone – I love all Becca products but this one is the best. All the Shimmering Skin Perfectors are amazing but Moonstone is perfect for my skin. It gives you the best glow. ($38)

Nest Fragrance in Indigo – I honestly can’t even put into words what this smells like other than heaven. It’s been a musky, a bit floral and just overall amazing. I wear this on the daily. ($72)

Armani Master Corrector – We all get those pesky bags under our eyes and dark circles. Well this corrector fixes it all. I have been using this for years under my concealer and it’s the best. It’s lightweight and very blend-able. ($40)

Tom Ford Cream Eyecolor in Platinum – This is my go to everyday shadow. It looks great with my blue eyes and blends nicely on the lids. It’s kind of a mousse texture and dries down nicely. It’s the prefect shade. ($46)

What will you be picking up in the Sephora VIB sale? I have my eyes on a few Drunk Elephant products but I’m not sure if I’ll buy them or not yet.

xoxo,

Gina
